"We had a great stay at Bella Manga, which provided an attractive and peaceful setting away from the bustle of Plett. We had a self catering suite which was well equipped and with a good veranda. The pool was large to enable a good swim. The grounds were spacious and we enjoyed sharing some wine around the fire pit with fellow guests under the stars. Thanks to the owners and staff and in particular to our neighbour guests Andrea and Charlie for making us feel welcome. We look forward to returning."

Chris and Jenny Sturgess bought Bella Manga in April 2017, leaving Johannesburg for the beautiful area of Plettenberg Bay.

"We wanted to live in the Garden Route, raise our two boys outside of the city and run a business together. Together with our dogs and ever-growing farm animal pet collection, we want to share our 40ha piece of paradise with our guests.

We started by renovating and upgrading all the facilities, making an already amazing place, even better! It's an ongoing process as we continue to respond to our guests' needs, including becoming an ever more environmentally friendly holiday option.

We are owner managed and flexible in our offering. We strive to ensure our guests feel especially welcome with personal service and attention to detail.

We love to create a private hide-away for couples and we are also child and family friendly. We look forward to welcoming you!"

"The best way to experience Afrika! This collection of historic buildings is in the middle of the country side with monkeys visiting you (from a safe distance) in the morning, beautiful views during breakfast and everything you need to relax during the day (and night). Everything is very clean and well maintained and the staff super friendly! You can enjoy the pool, pet animals, go for a nice long countryside walk, visit Plettenberg/Robberg or just chill. All the luxury you need, for a super price. This is Africa at it's best!"
